ECO ICE products are 100% sterile and clean, created with ultra-purified ozonated water which destroys disease-causing pathogens such as fungus, viruses and bacteria. We are also PIAA (Packaged Ice Association of Australasia) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control) accredited, which means our ice has the highest food preparation rating in the country.
As our name implies, we’re serious about doing our best to protect the environment. Our ice manufacturing and storing facility is run on natural refrigerants. Unlike synthetic refrigerants like HFC, HCFC and CFC, natural refrigerants don’t release harmful greenhouse gases that damage the ozone layer. We also use polyurethane freezer insulation in our freezers, which reduces the amount of energy required to keep things cold.
